I attended Howell Cheney Regional Vocational Tech where I graduated 18th in the field of HVAC Trades. During my senior year (1987) as part of a work study program I worked with Atlas Oil Company. Just over a year into my training I was able to work on the installation crew. Under the leadership of Wally Norman, I learned the art of doing new installations such as: piping boilers, oil tanks, and hot water heaters. I continued to work for Atlas Oil until 1990.
I worked for Wyman Oil from 1990-1994 under Rocco Desimone, owner. One of the most important business lessons/skills I learned from him was how important it is to treat people fairly and honestly.
Though I was working for a great company and owner, I wanted more. In 1995 I started East Hartford Heating & Cooling LLC. Since then, I have been growing and expanding my company. Along with my own customer work I am also a subcontractor for a few other companies. If this wasn’t enough to keep me on my toes, I have established a home heating oil company, Clear River Fuel Oil, with my brother Dan Rolfe.
I have lived in East Hartford for over 32 years now. I have made good friends throughout this community and I now raise my family here. I will continue to grow my business here as well.
